      Our new chapter at Yosemite Lakes Community Church is going strong. We started with burial gowns and now our hospital wants “belly wraps”. They are to wrap around the babies belly when the baby is in an incubator and can’t be held. It gives them a sense of being swaddled. These are about the simplest thing you can make. We cut flannel and cotton 5 inches wide by 36 inches long. I like to round the corners. Then you can sew and turn and edge stitch or you can serge with wrong sides together. Put on a label and you’re done. We made 28 today in just a few hours with only four ladies.
